By Road: The best way to go to Bhilai is by road as it is well connected with highways and expressways that are well maintained and easy to travel on. The roads are well developed and connect many neighboring cities in the state as well as cities in adjacent states. Bhilai is 11 Km from Durg, 30 Km from Raipur, 137 Km from Bilaspur, 158 Km from Gondia, 227 Km from Tumsar, 255 Km from Nagpur, 304 Km from Sambalpur, and is connected through Chhattisgarh State Road Transport Corporation (CSRTC) and some other private travel services.

By Train: Bhilai has no railway station of its own. The nearest Railway Station is “Durg Railway Station” in Durg. Which takes half an hour drive to reach the city. It has daily trains to Bhopal, Bilaspur, Ahmedabad, Durg, Chapra, Howrah, Nagpur, Puri, Shalimar, Vishakhapatnam, etc. You can hire a taxi or cab to reach the city center of your preferred destination.

By Air: Bhilai has no airport of its own. The nearest International Airport from Bhilai is “Swami Vivekananda Airport” in Raipur. Which takes 45 minutes drive to reach Bhilai. It is well connected with major cities like Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, etc. via Air India, Indigo, Jet Airways, and Jet Lite. You can easily hire a taxi or cab to reach the city center or your preferred destination.
