By air: Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport is the closest airport for those who like to fly. To get to Chamoli from the airport, take a bus or hire a taxi. The 222-kilometer road trip takes roughly 7 to 8 hours to complete.

By train: The closest train station is Rishikesh, where passengers can take a train to Chamoli. From there, getting to Chamoli requires taking a bus or hiring a cab. It takes roughly 6 to 7 hours to travel 202 kilometers by road from Rishikesh to Chamoli.

By bus: Since It is reachable by road, many people choose to drive there from different regions of Uttarakhand and nearby states. Given that the streets are winding and mountainous, it’s advised for experienced drivers.
