Panipat is the historical city of Haryana in India. It is called the city of weavers because it produces textiles and carpets. It is 95 km north of Delhi and 169 km south of Chandigarh. It is a city full of historical things. Due to being the global center for recycling textiles, the city is also known as the ' cast-off capital ' Panipat is well connected to all major Indian cities via Panipat Junction Railway Station. It is located at 29.39°N,76.97°E, and has an average elevation of 219 meters.

Panipat was one of the five cities founded by the Pandava brothers During the times of the Mahabharata and It's historic name Was Panduprastha. Panipat is also famous for its historical incident. The three famous battles took place in Panipat. The first battle was fought on 21 April 1526 Between Ibrahim Lodhi and Babur. It is believed that the war was decided by noon and Ibrahim Lodhi badly defeated the battle. On November 5, 1556, the second battle took place on Panipat Between Hemu and Akbar. Hemu had a larger army and 1500 elephants than Akbar. In 1761, on January 14, The third battle took place on Panipat Between Ahmadshah Abdali and the custodian assistant of Mughal emperor Shahalam. This war continued for more than six months After that, during the third war of Panipat, Najibudaula ruled Delhi as a representative of Ahmadshah Abdali.
