Yumthang Valley is a beautiful valley in northern Sikkim. It is at an altitude of 3,500 meters above sea level and is therefore naturally home to many beautiful Himalayan flowers. It is rightly called the Valley of Flowers, although this name is associated with the Valley of Flowers in Uttarakhand. This Valley is extremely picturesque, with verdant tree-covered slopes, yaks grazing on the flower-strewn grassy plains, and a river running through the valley. Words cannot describe the serene and calm air of the valley. A single visit there can put a visitor in an enchanted state for weeks.
