    Bahu-e-bagh is a garden which is situated in Jammu and serves as a magnificent source of attraction for several tourists coming here It is seated on the top of a mountain overlooking the Tawi river. This garden is characterized by grand lawns, gorgeous fountains, aesthetic stone sculptures, a beautiful lake, and a large aquarium. It’s a beautiful spectacular combination of a peaceful aura and breathtaking landscape.

    Attraction

    This place features the largest underground aquarium in India. The aquarium is constructed in the shape of a fish and has 24 aquarium caves and 13 small caves it stores freshwater and marine water fish. Along with the aquarium, you will also find a public laboratory, gallery, and fascinating museum.

    History

    Its Constructed on the banks of the Tawi River, the ancient fort is believed to have been constructed by Bahu Lochan – brother of the traditional founder of Jammu, Jambu Lochan. It is also believed that the first renovation of this fort was undertaken during Dogra Rule in the 18th century.

    It features a huge sign that is purposefully placed there as a greeting for visitors at the entrance. It also stated that the garden is made out of little plants trimmed to these shapes. As soon as you enter the garden, you will find a host of trees and flowers placed in such a way that adorns both sides of the walkway Due to this feature, Bagh-e-Bahu is full of a serene aura. There is a terraced garden that equips several gorgeous fountains located at different levels mama also makes enjoy the best of these fountains, especially during the nighttime when they are all lit up.
