Bangaram atoll is a tiny teardrop-shaped island, which lies very close to Agatti and Kavaratti. In this place, During the night, phosphorescent plankton washed ashore on the coral sands impart a bluish glow to the beach, which is enchanting. Guests to this resort can either avail of the boat transfer or helicopter transfer from Agatti Being the only uninhabited island resort in Lakshadweep it has got its charm.

History

Bangaram atoll is the main island in the atoll and has a small population of 10. This place was located on the east coast of this island. Thinnakara has a construction camp 30 for the new resort being built on its west coast.

The atoll has a roughly rectangular shape and is 8.1 km in length with a maximum width of 4.2 km. It’s with a lagoon area of 36 km2. It’s situated over 352 km (219 mi) off Kannur, 382 km (237 mi) off Kozhikode, 400 km (250 mi) off Kochi, and 525 km (326 mi) from Kollam Port in the Indian Ocean.
