    Situated in Aizawl the capital city of Mizoram, India the Bara Bazar is the most famous and popular flea market in the area. Here you can find different kinds of local items and traditional clothes. When someone is traveling to Aizawl the first thing they do is visit Bara Bazar. It is one of the main attractions of the city. 

    Locals dress in their traditional costumes which look amazing and sell their products from homesteads and farms including crabs, wicker baskets, vegetables, and many more. Tourists generally love to buy colorful traditional and local dresses and shoes.


    In Bara Bazar, you can find many things. Food stalls, vegetables, fish, etc. But the main thing which attracts the tourists most is the colorful traditional clothes, shoes, and handicrafts. Tourists mostly buy this formal attire from here. The locals will also wear traditional clothes and sell their products. It looks stunning. You will also be able to taste local foods here, which is a part of their culture.

    On one street, you will find people selling garments and traditional clothes while on other streets, you may find things like vegetables and fish. Local people mainly sell their homemade and market-purchased items and are found in traditional attire which shows their culture.

    By train: Located at a distance of 145kms, The nearest Railway station is Agartala Railway Station. It is well connected with the other cities in the country.

    By road: The road service of the city of Aizawl is very good. You can find several buses on this route. After reaching the city you may hire a taxi or a cab to reach the market.
