    Delhi is Blessed with so many historical places and monuments. Each monument tells a different story from the forgotten chapter of Delhi’s story.Bhool Bhuiayan is one of them .

    Many people believe that they got lost in the entwined architecture of the structure. since then that it got the name ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’ which means a maze. It is located close to the historic monument, Qutab Minar, and It is located at a prominent junction and marked on Google Maps.

    People said that the literal meaning of Bhool Bhulaiya is a maze because it is rumored that once a marriage party took shelter here and got lost. There is a history behind this place. Its tomb was built by Akbar for his general and foster brother named Adham Khan. He was the son of the chief nurse of Akbar and was executed on orders of Akbar after committing the murder of the newly appointed Prime Minister.Historecal Places in Bhool Bhuiyan

    Generally, Mughal tombs are square in shape. But this one was built differently to highlight his treacherous act against the emperor.  Adham Khan and his mother Maham Anga both were buried here. His Mother used to wield a lot of influence in the court of Akbar. Maybe It was the reason that Adham thought we can get away with murder. After this incident took happened, Maham withdrew into a shell and then She never rose to fame and favor again but instead died soon.

    The whole view of this place is amazing. It is an amazing instance of architectural excellence in the city. the tomb was built in 1562 in the shape of a dome, which now people believe is haunted. The inside view of this place is good. The structure is amazing. though the monument was once considered spooky, now people are slowly getting over this fear and treating it like any other tourist spot. People visit it every day at day time but no one would recommend seeing it after sunset. Qutab Minar is clearly seen as his backside.
