    Jampui Hills is the highest hill range in the state bordering Mizoram and situated at a distance of 200 Km.  from Agartala. This permanent seat of eternal spring is situated at an altitude of 3000’ above sea level. During November every year, In Jampui hill, the unique Orange & Tourism festival is celebrated. Both domestic and foreign, a large number of tourists, participate and enjoy this festival. The hill is covered with floating clouds during the rainy season and it provides a rare experience for tourists.

Attracting a large number of tourists with its virgin forests and peaceful and eco-friendly ambiance including beautiful orchids and colorful dance & music  Jampui hill is a real tourist paradise. For leisure tourism, being sparsely populated provides an ideal opportunity. Located in the North Tripura district in the northeastern part of the Indian state of Tripura, Jampui Hills is a part of the Mizo hills range. Approximately 1000 meters above sea level, the average altitude of the hill range is there.

    From the bottom to the top slowly engulfing, the formation of clouds at the bottom of the hill range and its gradual ascendance, the whole hill range in its mystic lap is an experience to treasure. At Vanghmun village in the Jampui hills, the Tourist Department of the Government of Tripura has constructed one very modern tourist lodge- ‘Eden Tourist Lodge’, which has a capacity of 20 persons and is well equipped with all modern amenities. In addition, “Paying Guest” Accommodation facilities are also extended in their houses.

    By air: Agartala airport is the nearest airport to Jampui Hills. From Agartala via road, Jampui hill is located at a distance of 198km.

    By train: At Dharmanagar at a distance of 70 km, the nearest railway station is located,60 Km from Panisagar, Pecharthal, at a distance of 55 Km from Jampui Hills. To Dharmanagar, Panisagar, and Pecharthal, the train is available.

    By road: From Agartala (198 Km), Dharmanagar ( 70 Km), Panisagar (60 Km), Jampui Hills can be reached via road.

    You must keep your snacks and water bottle with you. Be polite and don’t do any kind of activities which may disturb other visitors. As a hilly area, avoid visiting in the rainy season.
