    Lamiya Bay is located in Diglipur city in the state of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The beach is so beautiful and is situated on the foothills of Saddle Peak and which is the highest point in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. A dazzling sunset can be seen here and surrounded by amazing rock structures that make this beach attractive.

    There is nothing specific about Lamiya Bay Beach but its beauty is incomparable. It is the highest peak of Diglipur and is mostly visited by either honeymooners or nature lovers. Though it doesn’t have any history, it is one of the finest beaches in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

These are Kalipur Beach, Ramnagar Beach, and Ross & Smith Islands. On this beach, one side is covered by green nature and the other is a splendid blueish sea. Lamiya Bay is an adventure place too. Swimming, snorkeling, picnic parties, and other adventures can be made here.

    How to Reach

    By Air: Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair is the nearest airport. After arriving there you can hire a taxi, cab or car to reach the beach.

    By Rail: Train is not available to reach Lamiya Bay.

    By Road: Via road from Port Blair the only way to reach Lamiya Bay Beach is NH 4 Andaman Trunk road. It is almost 298 km and a taxi will take 9 hours to cover the distance. Government buses take 12 hours from Port Blair to Diglipur. Lamiya Bay is 20 km away from Diglipur city.
