    Marghat Hanuman Mandir is one of the famous temples of Delhi, located in the Priyadarshini colony in the Kashmiri Gate area, also known as Jamna Bazaar Hanuman temple. Still, it is not clear who built this Temple, but there are many stories related to Its construction and it is close to the old Delhi railway station.

    Historical Places in Marghat Hanuman MandirPeople believed that during the Mahabharat era, Marg hat Hanuman temple is one of the five temples built by Pandavas. the height of Lord Hanuman is about 7-8 feet below the ground.  this temple was located on the banks of the river Yamuna, earlier, then, the water level of the river Yamuna receded, and the temple went away from the banks.

    It is believed that while he was going to bring Sanjeevani for Lakshamana, Hanuman rested here for some time. In that place, there used to be a cemetery

    river, Yamuna used to pass from here, and for that reason, this temple is called ‘Marg hat Temple’.
