Jamali Kamali means one is the mosque and the other is the tomb and together as “Jamali Kamali” for the mosque as well as the tomb. they are buried adjacent to each other. in 1528-1529,

    The mosque and the tomb were constructed. Later, Jamali was buried in the tomb after his death in 1535.

    Jamali” was the alias given to Shaikh Fazlullah. He is also known as Shaikh Jamali Kamboh or Jalal Khan. Also, he is a renowned Sufi saint who lived during Lodi Dynasty and the Mughal Dynasty. In Urdu the word ‘Jamali’ means beauty. Which originates from “Jamal.

    He was a popular poet, and he traveled widely around Asia and the Middle East. during Lodi Dynasty rule he become a court poet and he continued to enjoy the patronage of the Mughal rulers. His poetry mirrored the Persian mysticism of the times. His two popular works are ‘The Sun and Moon and The Spiritual Journey of the Mystics’. Many people said that his tomb was completed during Humayun‘s rule.
