    Phawngpui Peak

    Phawngpui which is also known as Blue Mountain, is the highest mountain peak in the Mizo Hills and in the state of Mizoram, India, with an elevation of 2157 m. The peak is considered to be the abode of the goddess of the Mizo tribe. It is located within the Phawngpui National Park. From the top of the peak, you can see clouds and clouds which look absolutely mesmerizing. Being here, the mountains and the sky will make you feel rejuvenated, happy, and relaxed.

    By air: The nearest airport to Phawngpui Peak is situated at a distance of 192 km away from Champhai. Which is the Lengpui Airport. It is well connected with the other cities in the country. From the airport, direct vehicles are available to Champhai.

    By train: Mizoram doesn’t have a railway station of its own. The nearest railway station to Champhai is Silchar in Assam railway station, which is located about 352 kilometers away from Champa. By this railway station, you can easily reach the city of Champhai and the Phawngpui Peak effortlessly.

    By road: Mizoram is well connected with the other states of the country by road. You can easily go there by bus. One can find several buses on this route. Which would be a long but enjoyable journey.
