    Ramnagar island is a hidden gem island of Diglipur, a small town in the northern Andamans. Being the furthest north and away from all the other spots, the number of tourists is a bit less here. The entire Ramnagar Beach is covered with mangrove forests, rows of palm trees, and gray volcanic sand. The place is suitable for swimming and is one of the most beautiful in the city.

    Ramnagar Beach PhotoThe main attraction of Ramnagar beach is that it is the northernmost of Diglipur, so it is less crowded and so rare species of sea turtles can be seen here. December to March is their home breeding season. Rows of palm trees all around and the color of the seawater provide excellent visibility. It is also a suitable place for snorkeling and swimming and it gives you a lot of relaxation.

    The beautiful Ramnagar Beach is 35 kilometers away from Diglipur, a hidden gem and a small town in northern Andaman. The most beautiful sunset can be seen at Ramnagar beach as it is less crowded than other beaches. Many turtles have been seen here since the beginning of this beach and the environment here is very conducive to the growth of turtles.

The beach is a nesting ground for Olive Ridley turtles and it is covered by the mangrove green rainforest. The color of the water is light blue because of the grayish volcanic sand. There are some facilities for swimming and snorkeling. The beach is also known for its exquisite marine life and it is quite rich here. As well as the nearby Sandy Beach, Ramnagar beach is the perfect combo of blues and greens.

    By Air: The Veer Savarkar Airport, an international airport is the nearest which is located in Port Blair. The capital town Port Blair is well connected to Kolkata, Chennai, and New Delhi, and Jet Airways, Go Air & Spice Jet Airlines, Air India, and Jet Lite operate regular flights.

    By Rail: The rail services are not available.

    By Road: Bus services both government and private are available from the capital town Port Blair to Diglipur. You can also hire a car to reach there.
