    Sayaji Baug which is also known as Kamati Baug is located in the city of Vadodara under the state of Gujarat, India. Surrounded by more than 100 acres of the area this is the biggest garden in Western India. This garden has one of the biggest floral clocks in India and also in the world. The massive green square which has over 96 species of trees and a small zoo is a very interesting place for nature lovers. It is one of the major tourist attractions in the city of Vadodara.     The huge garden “Sayaji Baug” was built by H.H Maharaja Sayaji Rao Gaekwad who was a great visionary ruler of Vadodara or Baroda.

Maharaja donated his one private collection of Indian Exotic Animals to the zoo. The park was declared open to the public on 8th June 1879. This was constructed on the bank of the famous river Vishwamitri.
