The deities of the Shree Swaminarayan temple are Narayan Dev, Radhe Krishna Dev, and Hari Krishna Maharaj. Senior devotees Jigneshwarbhai, Gangarambhai the Sundarji Bhai, and others went to Gadhada where Lord Swaminarayan was attending a festival. Here the devotees met Swaminarayan and requested him to construct a temple in Bhuj. Then the temple was built. Lord Swaminarayan graced the temple in the western belt of India and installed the idols of Narnarauay dev and his own.
