The Simsang river which is also known as the Someshwari River is a major river in the Garo Hills of Meghalaya a state of India. The name basically changes when the river transcends the border of Bangladesh. The river Simsang trickles down from the Nokrek Peak, eventually swelling upon being joined by the chief tributaries which are Rompa, Rongdik, Ringdi, and Chibok.
