Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna Swamy Temple is an eminent temple placed at Ambalappuzha in the Alappuzha district of Kerala. According to archaeologists, the temple was built by the ruler of Chembakassery Sree Pooradam Thirunal Devanarayanan Thampuransince 15th – 16th AD. There are seven greatest Vaishnava temples and Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna Swamy Temple is one of them. The temple has unique prasadam with Ambalapuzha Palpayasam. The temple is often said as Dwarka of the South.
