    Constructed in the late 16th century, the Church of St Thomas was the second church to be built by the Portuguese. Constructed in the Gothic style of architecture, it is one of the most amazing churches in Dadra-Nagar Haveli and Daman-Diu in India.  

    Attraction

    The church was abandoned for a few decades with whitewashed walls and faded Portuguese frescoes, before it was converted into a museum in 1998. St. In the market area of the Diu fort, Thomas Church is located.

    St. Thomas Church outside viewAlong with a collection of local artefacts that are more than over four centuries old, it has Baroque facades, stone sculptures of Christ and Virgin Mary and wood carvings made of wood. There is mass held here once a year, despite not functioning as a church.
