The water in these hot springs has an average temperature of around 50°C. The Yumthang hot springs are one of the most famous hot springs. It’s a major tourist attraction.
Yumthang Tsachu is how the locals refer to it. It is located at an elevation of more than 11,800 feet above sea level. This hot water spring is located in the Lachung river’s course and can be reached after a 5-minute walk from Yumthang hamlet. This wonderful pool of hot waters is reached through a pedestrian trail that passes across a short bridge over the Lachung river.
