Darjeeling is a town council as well as a city of West Bengal. Being seated in the lesser Himalayas it has an elevation of 2000 meters. Its tea industry makes it renowned. From here you can get views of Kangchenjunga which is the world’s third-highest mountain. Besides You can enjoy the view of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. Gorkhaland Territorial Administration is a partially autonomous status of Darjeeling district which is as well a popular tourist destination. Darjeeling is one of the most popular destinations in India. It has been called the “Queen of Hills” because of its beautiful scenery.
