The industrial city of Durg, also known as the center of agriculture, is located on the east bank of the river Shivnath. Tandula is one of the third largest cities in Chhattisgarh and has a tributary of 345 km in the Sheonath Mahanadi valley. Besides, another river named Kharkhara can be noticed in the city. We all know the names of the Pandavas in the Mahabharata epic. Basically, it is the form of folk song which is one of the dances of Pandavani. The singers perform the steps of this dance. Also, the Raut dance is a folk dance that is performed by the shepherds and herdsmen. Durg is one of the most interesting places for visitors in Chhattisgarh.
