National Highway (74) originates from Haridwar and connects it to Kashipur, Pilibhit Kichha, Nagina, and Bareilly. Various public and private buses ply through these routes. Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation is the main public sector transport service. By Train: The main railway station serving the area is Hari-dwar Railway Station. By Air: Haridwar has no airport of its own. The nearest airport is in Dehradun, which is about 43 km away from Haridwar. Its name is Jolly Grant Airport. It is a domestic airport that is connected to various cities in India, such as Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Trivandrum, Chennai, and Lucknow. The major airlines serving the airport are Air India Regional, IndiGo, Jet Airways, SpiceJet, and Ventura Air Connect. After reaching the airport, you can easily hire a taxi or cab or take buses to reach Haridwar.
