By Air: Dibrugarh(mohanbari) is the closest airport to Tezu with a distance of 154 km. Guwahati is the nearby international airport at a distance of 610 km.

By train: Tinsukia is the nearby railway station from Tezu with a 120 km distance. Dibrugarh is another railway station with about 170 km distance from Tezu. Tourists can hire any local transport like a cab or taxi from the station.

By Road: Tezu is connected to all the major cities of Arunachal through NH2. Both Government and private transport buses are obtainable
