Udaipur is a popular city in the western Indian state of Rajasthan and it was the capital of the state of Mewar. Founded in 1559 by the Maharana King Udai Singh ll, it is known for setting up multiple artificial lakes and scenic royal residences. City Palace, a monument to 11 palaces, courtyards, and gardens overlooking Lake Pichola, famous for peacock mosaics.
