    History

    108 Shiva Mandir In 1788 complex of Nababhat in Bardhaman Town in West Bengal was constructed  by Maharani Bishnu Kumari Devi wife of Tilak Chandra Bahadur of the Bardhaman royal family
    In 1965 The temples were in a crumbling stage until it was restored by the Birla Jana Kalyan Trust A marble plaque on the left of the entrance mentions the restoration. Strangely the plaque also mentions the complex has 109 temples. Besides, there is no such history about this place. This temple is dedicated to lord shiva.
