    Advaita Ashrama Mayavati is an ashrama dedicated to the study and practice of Advaita Vedanta.”On March 19th, 1899, someone founded this ashrama.” This ashram attracts a lot of spiritualists from India and outside India. It is only for study and practice; here, no deity is worshipped, nor any ritual practiced. According to the rules of ashram ideals, which are set by Vivekananda, no Images were kept on the inside premises of the ashram. It is a holy place. Visiting this place is worth it.

    History

    Advaita Ashrama,Mayavati was inaugurated in March 1899 and was established before its object and principles were recognized by its branch. In 1901, Swamiji visited here and stayed for a fortnight. Swamiji has always been a hardworking person, which makes him seem insignificant. The ashram had a press, and the first edition was about Swamiji’s life, work, etc.

All types of books are sold here, especially those published by ashrams, like the master as I Saw Him by sister Nivedita and the works of swami vivekananda. Besides, this place is quite large. You can enjoy walking here. The atmosphere around this place is beautiful; while walking, you can enjoy Its positive vibe.
