    Akshardham temple is India’s most beautiful temple in Delhi. It is also known as Akshardham Temple. The name ‘ Akshardham’  is the combination of two words ‘Akshar’ means ‘eternal’ and ‘Dham’ means ‘abode’. it actually means the abode of eternal values and virtues and principles which are clearly mentioned in the Vedas and Puranas of Hindu mythology.

    It represents the peace, love, and holiness of the place where devotees worship the divine and seek their blessings. It is considered to be the divine home of God on Earth.

This temple is on the coast of Yamuna and the Commonwealth Games played in 2010 were also played in this part of Delhi. this temple is built according to Vastu Shastra and Pancharata Shastra. This complex, shows Water Show, Theme Garden, and three exhibitions Sawanjan Darshan, Nilkantha Darshan & Culture Darshan.

The beliefs and teaching of Lord Swaminarayan are represented in this temple. The archeological structure of this temple is amazing. It is made of a combination of wood, sandstone, and marble stone. The temple is 356 feet long and 316 feet wide.THIS complex is complexly decorated with flowers, animals, dancers, musicians, and followers. According to Maharishi Vastu architecture, it has been designed and has pieces of Pilar, 9 domes, and 20000 Monk.

    This temple is built as per as ancient principles of Pramukh Swami Maharaj. When you visit it, you will be mesmerized by the beauty of This temple. Do visit this temple and seek blessings from the lord.

    Every day opens at 9.30 am to 6.30 pm and on monday is closed.

    How to Reach

    By Air: Bagdogra International airport. After you reach there you can take any transport to reach the place. 

    By Rail: Nizamuddin Railway station is the nearest railway to them.

    By Road: in delhi city bus services are so good and the people of the city use bus services for travel within the city. You can also hire private transport like a taxi or cab and easily reach there.
