Aligarh Clock Tower, also known as the Harrison Tower, is a clock tower in Aligarh and one of the world’s most iconic clock towers. It is located near the famous Aligarh Muslim University. It was built in 1893 and named for Aligarh’s British civil servant of the Indian Civil Service (ICS) and district magistrate, J. H. Harrison. Today, the Clock Tower has become an integral part of the Aligarh cityscape.
