    Ananthagiri Waterfalls is one of the greatest tourist spots in the vicinity of Araku Valley. It is located on the Eastern Ghats, about 60 km from Visakhapatnam. It is also located 30 km away from Araku Valley and only 3 km from Ananthagiri Town. Accompanying you on your journey are dense rain forests, green coffee gardens, aligned hills, waterfalls, and deep canals that will create a pleasant feeling in your heart. At a height of about 100 feet, these Ananthagiri Waterfalls become one of the best places to visit during the monsoon season. The best way to get here is by walking or trekking from Ananthagiri. Using shortcuts can be dangerous for you, as you can’t use those impenetrable roads. So, 20 minutes walk from Ananthagiri – Araku main road you can reach Ananthagiri Waterfalls as this road is flat and anyone can walk easily. Remember, the rocks near the waterfall are very slippery and dangerous. It is important to be careful when passing over rocks.

To reach Ananthagiri Waterfalls, you first need to reach Araku Valley, from where you can easily reach Ananthagiri Town by taxi, cab, or bus. You can reach these Waterfalls by trekking from the main town. Here are two short ways to reach Visakhapatnam to Araku Valley-

    By Road: The easiest way to get to the Araku Valley from Visakhapatnam is by bus. You can easily get private and state bus services from Visakhapatnam. You will also find many taxis or cabs at lower charges than private vehicles. You can also enjoy the beautiful scenery, waterfalls, tunnels, and hillsides of Araku Valley. It can take approximately three and a half hours to reach Araku Valley.

    By Train: Araku has its railway station, which is about 116 km from Visakhapatnam. From Araku Railway Station you can easily find several accessible buses to various tourist destinations near Araku. It may take about three and a half hours to reach Araku from Visakhapatnam railway station.
