The time was accurate. Even in the evening, this place looks more beautiful; you can feel nature and see its beauty, which is refreshing. The carvings on the rock are worth visiting this place, and The entry fee is Rs.10 per person, it will take around 15-20 mins to see all 6 galleries.

History

Archeological museum known as konark museum was built in 1968. This place is maintained by the archeological servey of india. Almost all the artefacts in konark museum belong to the Konark Sun Temple and it was fell down from the structure of the temple over time. These fallen artefacts were collected when this templs was clearance. The Konark Sun Temple was built in the 13th century and King Narasimhadeva was built this temple.

By road: By road is the easiest way to reach there. Firstly you have to take a bus to reach konark city. After reaching there you can hire a cab or take a autorickshaw to reach anywhere. Its the best way I think.
