    Asirgarh fort is also known as Hansi Fort. It is one of the oldest forts in India. It is located on the  Amti lake in Hansi town of Haryana. It is about 135 km from Delhi on NH9.it is popularly known as Prithvi Raj Chauhan Ka Qila, Prithviraj Chauhan’s Fort.ASI declared it as a  centrally protected monument. Several names are also used for the fort as Aligarh, A-sika, Ansi, Asidurga, and Asika, in different anecdotes. These names are derived from Assa Jat. This fort is more than 1000 years old.

    The whole view of this place is amazing. Till 1857, the ancient fort survived then the new fort is about 1000 years old. This building has 36 masonry pillars. Now the ancient fort is representing 50 feet high mound. The structures on the top of the mound. The walls of asigarh fort are about 52 ft high and 37 ft thick. It is also a house mosque in the complex. The main gate has a craving for animals, birds, and the Hindu deities. The fort was repaired in 1304 by

    Khilji Dynasty’s most famous ruler was Alauddin Khilji. The fort has a long pilar, and It’s a structure known as Baradari on the top of the mound. Don’t miss it.

    8 am to 6 pm is the visiting time of this place. For avoiding rush you can visit this place in the morning time.
