History

There is a history behind Baba Anandeshwar Temple. It is said that, during the Mahabharata period, Karna used to visit this place. One day, Karna came to perform his puja, and then a cow came to this place named Anandi and dropped his milk at the named place. Then he saw that the cow’s behavior was a little strange, and so he gathered the villagers and craved the place. Then, a big shive linga came out, and it did not move from that place.
