One of Bareilly’s most well-known and revered Hanuman Temple is Bada Bagh Hanuman Mandir. The temple also has a Shivling and a beautiful Ram Janki Temple, pictures of which I will publish. Tuesdays and Saturdays are the busiest days of the week with lots of guests. Tuesdays are crowded, but other than that, you’ll find it to be a nice peaceful spot to sit and worship the Lord “Hanuman“

This temple has a very serene and peaceful aura. It is an ancient place, very beautiful, clean, and most sacred of all. There are mainly three temples in this premises- Hanuman Temple, Shiv temple and Ram Temple. This temple is the most famous place in Bareilly. Here you will get inner peace and satisfaction irrespective of the harsh circumstances. So every year the temple attracts thousands of visitors.

History

With the blessings of Baba Shri Ramdas ji, the temple was founded on April 3, 1952, during the sacred Ram Navami festival. The holiness and spirituality of Param Pujya Shri Baba Ramdas ji at Bareilly is the reason for this temple dedicated to Shri Hanuman Lal. The people refer to this temple as Bada Bagh Ka Mandir.

Inside/Outside Views

The exterior of the temple is usually embellished with elaborate architectural elements, frequently showcasing vibrant sculptures and carvings that portray episodes from Hindu mythology. There can be a noticeable entrance gate on the building, and well-kept courtyards or gardens all around it.

By Air: About 85 kilometres distant, the Pantnagar Airport (PGH) is the closest airport to Bareilly. From there, you can go to Bareilly by taxi or by using various local modes of transportation.

By Rail: The Bareilly Junction Railway Station has excellent connections to India’s largest cities. You can take public transport, hire a taxi or take an autorickshaw from Bareilly Junction to Bada Bagh Hanuman Mandir. Depending on where exactly it is in Bareilly, there may be a variety of ways to get from the railway station to the temple.
