This clock tower is the most famous place in Bardhaman. Many people all over the world visit this place. In the evening time, this place is quite crowded. The view during sunset hours is so beautiful that you don’t want to leave this place. The nearby bridge looks quite well-maintained & clean. The tower looks very beautiful at night because of the lighting. It’s one of the most important landmarks of Burdwan town. This tower is implemented and maintained by the Burdwan Development Authority. (BDA). You can find a beautiful evening here with an awesome atmosphere created by the tower, lights, bridge, and the wind. This tower contains a majestic swan at its top and It is like a little crown upon the head of the town. The new bridge also adds more beauty to this place.

History

There is no such history about this place. This tower is a landmark of Bardhaman town beside Banka Nala bridge in the Birhata area in West Bengal. It was maintained and constructed by the Burdwan Development Authority (BDA) and also this place is safe. It is a very good initiative taken by (BDA). This tower is beautifully constructed near Acharya Sukumar Sen setu.

This place is quite busy but beautiful also. In the evening and after sunset this place is quite crowded because at that time this place looks more beautiful. It is close to flowing Banka Khal and from the top of the clock tower structure, there is a great view of the well-lit Banka bridge going across the Khal. At night, this place looks just gorgeous with colorful lighting. Bardhaman Clock Tower is a nice clock tower inside Purba Bardhaman city. At Birhata, the side of Acharya Sukumar Sen Setu Clock Tower is located. Visitors can see the nice view of this clock tower at night time. Besides there are so many food stalls in this place. Also, you can buy your necessary things from there. There are so many shops.
