History

Baro Duari Gate is one of the famous places in Bardhaman, West Bengal. In the 14th century, this gate was a victory memorial that was built by Maharaja Kirtichand to commemorate his victory over the zamindars of Chitua and Baroda. Otherwise, there is no such significant hist

ory about this place. The best time to visit this place is in the evening or after sunset. These times this place looks more beautiful than any other time.

Inside/Outside Views

This is an outside type place, the main attraction of this place is the gate and the surrounding views of this place. This gate is made of red sandstone and is decorated with intricate carvings It is a two-storey structure with a pyramidal roof. The ground floor has three arches, while the first floor has two arches. You can see many restaurants and shops in this place. And these restaurants and shops are quite good in quality. It is located in a peaceful and scenic setting.
