Salia Dam is a significant structure located on the Salia River, which is a tributary of the Bhargavi River in Odisha, India. It plays a crucial role in regulating the water flow in Chilika Lake, which is Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon and a Ramsar site of international importance. The Dam is about 1200 meters long and has a strong capacity of approximately 18388 hectares-meters of water.
