    Bhawarnath Temple situated on the western end of the city. It js  believed that Baba Bhananthnagar gives relief to his devotees by performing Darshan-worshiping. Even this is the reason why any festival of Shiva worship is followed by the people of the city and the surrounding areas.

    History

    Bhawarnath Temple is about the establishment of the temple. The foundation of the temple was laid on October 4, 1951, and it was completed after seven years on December 13, 1958. The local people of this area said that hundreds of years ago, a baba named Bhawarnath used to feed his cow in that place. At that time, a Shiv linga was established, and his cow was grazing on one side, and on the other side, he used to meditate on Shiva sitting there. So, in the name of Baba, who grazed the same cow, this place was named Bhawarnath.
