Located on the bank of river Gomati in Udaipur, Tripura, Bhuvaneswari Temple is a famous Hindu temple. In two of Rabindranath Tagore‘s plays, the temple is immortalized, namely Rajarshi and Bisharjan.

Upon a three-foot elevated porch, the beautiful temple is perched. Completes the architecture of the temple, there is a four chaala roof, stupas at the entrance, and a core chamber. Adorning the pillars and the stupas,flower-patterned motifs are the highlights of the temple. Hindu devotees, the temple is frequented by those who consider it as an important religious destination in Tripura.
