    Birds Island of Odisha is located in the Chilika estuary near the Rambha area. It is situated only 5 kilometers from Rambha and around 50 kilometers from Berhampur town. It is an ideal place for a picnic and can be easily visited by boat. Varieties of residential birds made this an entertaining place in Chilika Lake. It is considered a paradise for native birds and migratory birds as well. This place is a tourist attraction near Berhampur.

    The main attraction of Birds Island is its big Dinosaur statue and the beautiful rocks. In the winter, different types of birds such as lesser flamingos, Goliath Heron, gray herons, purple herons, egrets, spoonbills, storks and black-headed ibis are seen here and there on the island.
