The Botanical Garden Regional Plant Resource Centre is one of the Unique places in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It is also known as Ekamrakanan Park. It is the best educational place for students in schools, colleges, universities, and other institutions. Tourists From many places come to visit this place. It is one of the major tourist attractions of the city. Botanical Garden Regional Plant Resource Centre attracts many tourists from outside Odisha but mainly attracts students from schools, Colleges, universities, and other institutions. The main attractions of this place are the colorful flower beds and sprawling lawns. People of all ages love This. The lake has crystal clear water and attracts a lot of migratory birds in winter seasons and local resident birds. The lake is around 45 acres. It has a fine collection of 72 plants, scented flowers, etc. Also, 52 types of hibiscus and rose gardens and 54 types of tropical palms were grown for research. The best time to go to this place is in the evening. It opens all week except for the Holi festival. The atmosphere of this place is so beautiful that you can’t leave it. It is the best place to enjoy and learn about many things about plants.

History

Botanical Garden Regional Plant Resource Centre was established as a recreational garden to provide a green lung for the inhabitants of the city in 1985. Later, it used a vibrant recharge organization to promote plant biodiversity. Over the years, it has made a lot of contributions to the plant’s biodiversity.

The whole view of Botanical Garden Regional Plant Resource Centre is wonderful. From the entrance to the rest of the place, it is so beautifully decorated and set up. Inside this place, you can see a lot of different types of flora and fauna. There are a lot of Seasonal plants planted all over here. It feels like heaven on earth whenever you step into this place. Besides, it is home to many birds and other species.

Also, it allows you to enjoy boat rides and enjoy the birds of the lakes. The area of this place is very big. This place is divided into many spaces, and each of the divinations is dedicated to something. It is well maintained by Regional Plant officers. Some places are doing research. Cultural programs also happened here. Different types of plants are shown, as well as many other things. It is also useful for all students in schools, colleges, and universities. The people of this place are friendly and welcoming.

By road: I think by road is the best way to get there. You can hire a car or cab to reach your destination directly. Otherwise, you can take a bus to reach Bhubaneswar first, then take an auto rickshaw to get anywhere.It is well connected to other Cities.
