    Buddha Park Namchi was constructed between 2006 and 2013. It was erected to mark the 2550th birth anniversary of Gautama Buddha.

    The most gorgeous statue of Sakyamuni Buddha enlightened Buddha Park. It is a 130-foot-high statue that we said before. 7 huge tubs are set around the Buddha statue. Visitors throw coins into them and their prayers. The huge premises of Buddha Park are all clean and well-maintained. Arrangements for sitting and relaxing the beauty of it are prominent.
    Soothing Buddha music is played in the music system attached to the pillar providing a holy vibe. After a big lobby, stairs lead the visitors toward the Buddha statue. This path nicely presents Buddha’s several quotes on a metal board. Reading and going forward is like going home.     By Air: Bagdogra Airport in Siliguri, West Bengal is the nearest airport to reach Buddha Park. This airport is well connected with all the main cities of India. It is around 126 kilometers from Ravangla. This airport is also a domestic airport and is connected to the nearest international airport Kolkata in West Bengal. From Ravangla, Buddha Park is about 8 kilometers away. Hire a taxi or book a cab to reach there from Ravangla. Now Sikkim has its own airport – Pakyong airport. You can also go by this airport.

    By Train: New Jalpaiguri in Siliguri, West Bengal is the nearest railway station to reach Buddha Park. It is around 122 kilometers from Ravangla. This railway station is well connected with the major cities like Kolkata and Delhi. From Ravangla, Buddha Park is about 8 kilometers away. Hire a taxi or book a cab to reach there from Ravangla. 

    By Road: Ravangla is around 118 kilometers from Siliguri. The Sikkim Nationalized Transport (SNT) buses ply regularly from Siliguri to the state. You can also go by private taxi and shared taxi. From Ravangla, Buddha Park is about 8 kilometers away. Hire a taxi or book a cab to reach there from Ravangla.
