    Chalsa View Point is situated 8km from Malbazar in the western Dooars on the National Highway 31. It is an important town in the Dooars region. Nestled on the foothills of the Himalayas on the way to Dooars from Siliguri. The unique location of Chalsa has made it a preferred tourist destination of Dooars as it acts as a base for travelers who want to explore the lesser-known hill stations of Dooars. Sited at the periphery of Gorumara National Park, Chalsa is blessed with rich flora and fauna and is also known as the Gateway towards Dooars due to its proximity to the pictorial destination of Dooars. There are many places situated on an easy and short journey – a distance which can be visited while pausing in Chalsa, like Bindu. Towards the journey of Chalsa, you will see the pictorial semi-tropical forest while crossing the Teesta River. In Dooars ‘ point, Chalsa is one of the viewpoints.

    • September to March are the best months to visit the place when the monsoon is over. The place gets more greenery. So try to visit this time.
