According to legend, he saw Lord Lakshmi Narayan in a dream and received instructions to construct the temple. Chunna Miyan’s Mandir is a beacon of religious unity that draws worshippers seeking blessings from a variety of religious backgrounds. It is evidence of the centuries-long religious tolerance and cultural syncretism that has characterized India’s past.
