Entering Dalgaon’s viewpoint you can see the Cinchona Resort. It is a very beautiful resort. If you want to stay there for some days you can stay in that beautiful resort. There is a watchtower in Dalgaon near the resort. From there, you can see an aesthetic view of Bhutanese hills and small forests. At the same time, the Jaldhaka River divided India and Bhutan. The local people are very generous. Outside the viewpoint, you can enjoy other beautiful spots. Paren, Dodak, Gairibas viewpoint, Apple Stone, and Jaldhaka Valley are attractive places surrounding Dalgaon viewpoint. There are no small stalls near the viewpoint; only you are gonna find pictorial greenery. Winter or Summer will be the best time to visit the viewpoint. In winter, you can enjoy the sunshine, foggy rocks, and nature with dew, and at the same time, summer will completely refresh you.

How to Reach

By air: If someone prefers an airline, then Bagdogra International Airport is the nearest airport for them. This airport is located in Siliguri.

By train: Dalgaon Railway Station is the nearest to Dalgaon village. It lies in the Jalpaiguri–Alipurduar–Samuktala road line.

By bus: There are many nearby bus stands available to Dalgaon. Looksan bus stop, bus stop New Kunai Basti, and bus stop in Bindu are the nearest bus stops.

Tips for Travellers

The path from the entry gate to Dalgaon is rocky, so be careful if you are to drive.
Though there is no specific time to visit the place, I suggest you visit Dalgaon in winter or summer to get the astounding view.
There are no food stalls near the viewpoint, so try to keep some snacks and water bottles in your bag.
The local people are very generous, so be polite to them.
It’s a hill area, so be careful about the roads while driving.
To fully enjoy the viewpoint, stay in a homestay for 2-3 days.
Don’t forget to bring your important documents or belongings with you.
