Dargah-E-Aala Hazrat, is also known as Bareilly Sharif Dargah. It is a monument to Ahmad Raza Khan Barelvi, an Islamic scholar and polymath of the 19th century. He was the best known for his staunch opposition to the Wahhabism movement in India.
The dargah is situated in Bareilly district, Uttar Pradesh, India. Shah Mehmood Jaan Qadri was beautifully designed the dome of the dargah. It has an unique structural feature which is eye-catching. He was used matchsticks in it’s construction. In 2014, when the death anniversary of Ahmad Raza Khan was celebrated at Dargah-e-Aala Hazrat, the Muslim clerics slandered the Talibani terrorism and their ideology of Wahhabism. Once upon a time, the dargah is the actual place for the Urs-E-Razavi but it is now celebrated in different countries of the world to avoid the large crowds and the gathering of many Islamic scholars.
