Dibang Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the eight wildlife sanctuaries of Arunachal Pradesh and its located in the upper Dibang Valley district covering an area of 4149 km^2. This sanctuary is rich in wildlife and rare mammals like red goral, black bare, Mishmi takin, Asiatic black bear, musk deer occasionally tiger and Gongshan muntjac occur while among birds there are the rare Sclater’s monal and Blyth’s tragopan.
This place is located fully or partly within Dihang-Dibang Biosphere Reserve.
