    George Everest's House

    Sir George Everest’s House also known as the Park Estate and was built in 1832. These days George Everest‘s House and George Everest’s Peak are famous for camping, adventure outings, and picnics. Being close to Dehradun and Mussoorie, it’s getting more popular day by day.

    Sir George Everest House With The Amazing Backdrop Of The Doon Valley.

    The house is under the jurisdiction of the tourism Department and there is underground water that is quite deep and lies uncovered in the front yard outside the house filled with little and posing danger of slipping. 

    The interior has been stripped but the fireplaces, the door, and window, and the roof flames remain. The house is secured by a steel grill and can not be entered and now that is property is better known the access road has been improved and the walls are covered with graffiti

    By road: You hire a car to reach this place so easily. But the road condition is not so good from Hathipaon to this place.
