    The Great Himalayan National Park is a national park in India, and it is located in the Kullu region in the state of Himachal Pradesh. In 1984 the park was established and it is spread over an area of 1171 km. This park is home to many rare varieties of flora and fauna Here you can see 375 fauna species,181 birds,3 mammals, 12 reptiles,11 annelids,9 amphibians, 17 mollusks, and 127 insects. As They are protected under the strict guidelines of the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972 so any sort of hunting is not permitted., The Great Himalayan National Park was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites, In June 2014  under the criterion of “outstanding significance for biodiversity conservation”.

This park is home to rare species such as the Western Tragopan, Chir Pheasant, Himalayan Musk Deer, Asiatic Black Bear, Snow Leopard, Himalayan Tahr, and Serow, the park supports 8 percent of all plant species, 10 percent of mammals, 21 percent of birds, 7 percent of reptiles and 9 percent of amphibians. Also, it offers a sweet environment. Here you can enjoy nature fully. Also, this park is neat and clean. So, Don’t miss it.

    Every day from 9 am to 6.30 pm and it is closed on Tuesday.

    The entry fee is INR 20 per adult and for children INR 10.
