    The tomb of Ibrahim Lodhi is situated in Panipat, Haryana.  It is one of the most visited places in Haryana. He was the last Sultan of the Delhi Sultanate. Ibrahim Lodhi became Sultan in 1517 after the death of his father Sikandar Khan Lodi and He was the last ruler of the Lodi dynasty. He rules for nine years until 1526. After that, he was defeated and killed at the Battle of Panipat by Babur’s invading army. This

    In 1517, Ibrahim Lodi became the Sultan of Delhi after his father died and He was the last ruler of the Lodi dynasty.

In 1526, the Mughal forces of Babur, the king of Kabulistan, named Kabul, Afghanistan, defeated Ibrahim’s much larger army in the Battle of Panipat. He was killed during the battle at Panipat. Now, his tomb lies there. The number of Babar’s force is around 25,000–30,000 men and had between 20 and 24 pieces of field artillery and the other side of Ibrahim Lodi had around 30,000–40,000 men along with at least 100 elephants. After the end of the Lodi dynasty, the era of Mughal rule Started.
